Time-on-page doubled by embedding 3D scans on every listing
Bridge Estates dropped flat photo carousels for full walk-around splats. Two viewings this month came in saying they 'already knew the place.'
Why a 360 isn't enough
Bridge had tried virtual tours before — Matterport, then a few cheaper 360-photo tools. They worked for high-end listings where the customer was already mentally committed, but felt like overkill for the mid-market. Setup was a half-day per property; cost was prohibitive for £400k flats.
Recording with a phone
Priya, Bridge's director, started recording phone walk-throughs on visits. Bury3D processed each in 4-8 minutes on Wi-Fi. By the end of the second week, every active listing on the Bridge website had a 'rotate the room' splat embedded inline above the photo gallery.
The conversion lift
Time-on-page on listing pages roughly doubled within a month. Two viewings in May came in already saying 'I felt like I'd walked it.' Bridge converted both into offers the same week. The team's now using the splat as the lead asset on email teasers and social, with photos as a fallback.
